2020-2021 Letter of Interest (LOI)
The Mayor’s Office of Education plans to expand the number of PHLpreK seats in September 2020 to 4,300 seats. Grant awards of $8,750 per child will be available to eligible applicants to provide a minimum of 5.5 hours of instructional time per school day for 180 days in school year 2020-2021.
To begin the application process, all providers must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI).
The deadline for the FY21 LOI (December 20, 2019) has passed.
This Letter of Interest is required for all sites wishing to become a part of PHLpreK in FY21. This includes locations that are not contracted in the PHLpreK program in FY20 and programs that are currently funded. PHLpreK Providers funded in the FY20 fiscal year are required to submit an LOI for their currently funded location.
